Who are Envirofone?
Envirofone (not Envirophone but yes, taken from the words environment and phone funnily enough!) is one of the UK and Ireland's top online mobile recycling sites.
It's free to use and you can choose from four ways how to get money for your old mobile – directly by BACs, a cheque in the post, via PayPal or even in Argos vouchers. Or, if you’re feeling generous, you can donate some of the money to carbon offsetting or to a charity of your choice.
They’ll even give you money if your phone is damaged or broken and if you don’t like how much they offer you, they’ll send your phone back to you.
So how does it work? You select the make and mobile of your old mobile phone, click on ‘Find Now’ and once you’ve found your phone, click on ‘Sell Now’.
This is the bit where you choose how you want to be paid (and if you’re going to do some carbon offsetting or if you’re going to donate a % to your favourite charity).
You then enter your contact details, select a username and password (so that you can log back in later and track the progress) and then you’re less than a week away from receiving free money for your old phone! Simple!
