Mobile phone recycler Zonzoo is spreading to the Middle East region under the name Zonzoo UAE. It is a joint venture between Enviroserve, which operates in Dubai, and Zonzoo Group plc.
Last year Zonzoo recycled nearly two million mobile phones and is becoming one of Europe’s leading mobile phone recyclers already active in the UK, Austria, Spain, Holland, Germany, Portugal and Belgium.
So UAE residents will now be able to benefit from mobile phone recycling and receive cashback for their old phones. By reuse the life cycle of raw materials will be extended and developing countries will benefit from receiving their old phones.
Zonzoo is also a large contributor to charitable causes so far raising over €10 million.
