The Daily Mirror has entered the electronic gadget recycling arena by launching a scheme entitled Mirrorgogreen.co.uk, in partnership with ShP Limited. Another aim of Mirrorgogreen.co.uk is to help Daily Mirror readers to become greener by helping them to recycle a range of household electronic goods such as laptops, mobile phones, sat navs and digital cameras.

Mirror Group Newspapers are expecting this to raise the profile of their brand, give something of value to their readers and at the same time benefit the environment.  Mirror Group are pleased to be working with one of the leading mobile phone recyclers in the UK and are proud to be the first national newspaper in the country to launch a recycling website of this knd.

ShP Limited has spent a lot of time developing the website to be user-friendly and they believe it to be an excellent way for consumers to recycle their old electronic equipment, with the dual benefits of receiving cash back and also helping to protect the environment. ShP believe the new website will make a significant contribution to reducing e-waste in the UK and is one of the first to offer people the opportunity to recycle a range of products.
