Mobile phone recyclers are being given more and more credit on and offline as awareness increases as to the value of selling and recycling your old mobile phones.

Many financial websites produce articles with money saving tips and ideas to make money from things you don’t need anymore.  These are great resources for getting ideas on how to save and make some extra cash.  Mobile phone recyclers and comparison sites are often given a mention.

Some recent articles include one on Yahoo Finance called ’10 Money Morals to Live Your Life By’ where it states: “By recycling, you can rid your home of your junk, help the environment and make some cash at the same time. Hurrah!  And when I say junk, I don’t even mean good quality, second-hand goods that are bound to be worth something. I mean, erm, junk. For example, you can:  Sell a broken, old mobile phone.  Sites like Cellzone..will help you figure out where to sell your old mobile for the most profit, even if the phone isn’t working.”

Companies like Envirofone and Mazuma Mobile are also continuing their huge TV advertising campaigns and using social media sites like Twitter and Facebook to promote competitions to raise awareness and increase the number of people using these sites.
