O2 Allows Early Upgrade To The iPhone 4

The long awaited iPhone 4 has been announced and although we don’t know the price yet, it’s obvious that the demand for this latest iPhone is going to be huge.

The new iPhone stands out from it’s predecessors with an all-new design, lots of new features including video calling and an HD screen along with lots more upgrades.

O2 are aware that lots of us won’t want to wait until are existing contracts are finished so have announced that they will allow their customers to pay a one-off charge based on a £20 per month fee for every full month that’s left on their existing contract.

O2 have set up a dedicated upgrade page on their website where customers can enter their upgrade date to get an estimate of how much the one-off charge will be.

Another way to get some extra cash to put towards the new iPhone is to sell your old mobile.  Our latest figures show that for an iPhone 3GS 16GB you could get up to £263 and for a 3GS 32GB as much as £285.  A nice sum to put towards your new iPhone 4.  The price you could get for recycling your old mobile does vary quite widely though.  For example with the 32GB 3GS some mobile phone recyclers are only offering as little as £220 – a massive difference of £65.  Do make sure you use a mobile phone recycling comparison site to make sure you get the best price when selling your old phone.
