Mobile Phone Recycler Launches New Swap Shop Service

Mobile phone recycler MoneyForYourPhone.com has become the latest recycler to launch a phone swap service.

The company was launched in 2008 by Kasim Javed and is based in Rochdale.  It’s website currently allows you to sell your old mobile for cash.  Old phones are then recycled or refurbished and sold on.

Users are now being offered the chance to swap their old phone and upgrade it to a new one. This can be done even if your upgrade is not due yet and even broken or damaged phones can be swapped for brand new phones.  The user just has to go to the site and select the phones they want to recyle, then select the new phone they want to upgrade to.  Any difference in price can be paid using a debit or credit card or via PayPal.  The new phone will then be delivered within, in some cases, just three days.

Mr Javed says about his new service:  “Many companies are offering to buy people’s unwanted mobile phones. But it’s a time consuming process: you send off your phone, wait for a cheque to arrive and then, once you’ve cashed it, you then go out and look to buy a new one. The process could take days or even weeks.  What’s new and different about our phone-swap service is that it can all be done online in a single process. Customers can trade in their old mobile phones for an alternative of their choice and receive their upgrade in just a couple of days.”
