Envirofone has raised the prices they are giving for some of the top phones sold via their mobile phone recycling site to try to tempt people to sell off their old mobiles after Christmas.

Many people will be trying to earn a bit of extra cash over the next few weeks and what better way than by selling your old mobile.

We’ve noticed that Envirofone have increased the prices they will pay you for some of the top Nokia phones.
For example, you can now get £96.35 for the Nokia N95 8GB.  One of the current top selling phones on mobile phone recycling sites is the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.  Last week Envirofone were offering £68.03 for this phone, you can now receive £81.08 for it, an increase of 19%!

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was released in the UK in January 2009 and was Nokia’s first touch screen smartphone featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G video calling, a music player and FM radia, GPS positioning with Nokia maps and a very high resolution touchscreen.  Over 2 million phones were sold in the first 2 months of its release.

Other Nokia phones that Envirofone have increased their prices for this week include the E71 (up from £63.10 to £70.15), the N73 (up from £43 to £47), the 6300 (up from £29.02 to £37.60) and the 6500 Slide (up from £28.55 to £34.19).
